vulnus
Vulnus paintings question how vulnerability embodies both weakness and strength. One of the most painful and torturous moments for every human being is an acceptance of one's own weakness. Life of a contemporary man is so highly demanding, it does not welcome sickness, bad moods, disturbance, failings. One is continuosly expected to be successful. The Vulnus diptych explores the dual nature of weakness, and suggests that the core of each strenght belongs to the moment of assenting one's own right to be vulnerable. |
